It's take a Pulse to fall in love...& a Plan to stay in Love!
We have all fallen in love at least 'once' perhaps 'twice' and for many of us falling in love ... is an addiction. That familiar song by Robert Palmer, 'Addicted to Love', comes to mind. But is it 'love' or 'lust' that we are experiencing when we repeatedly go thru these 'got to have you now'  (and please don't confuse sex with this got to have you now, desire) feelings about someone? The got to have him/her 'now' is not necessarily about 'either sex or love' it more about how we are projecting onto this other person our need or desire to be 'loved, accepted, &/or desired' by them. I will talk more about the latter on another day. For now let's focus on 'The Plan', if you will to remain in love with the man or woman whom we are partnering with whether in a long term committed relationship or an actual marriage.

To keep this brief, yet applicable to all committed relationships across the board, the first thing is to remove the competition from your relationship. When two committed people begin to compete with one another, you may as well, throw in the towel and call it a day, cut your loses and move on, immediately, unless you're prepared to 'NIP THE COMPETITIVE ACT' in the bud from the moment it begins. In a committed healthy relationship, there is no room for competition. And please don't misunderstand that by competition I am 'NOT' talking about a healthy board game or game of cards. I am talking about one upmanship within the parameters of the relationship in matters of communication where you both have a 'Real Need' and desire to BE RIGHT, regardless. The End is written, for you two, when that dynamic begins. If you're there right now, and you've not been doing this for years, then you have a chance to 'STOP' and 'ReStart'. And if that is what you truly desire to do, then call me so I can help you alter or 'change' your communication in order to regain the love & respect that was "ONCE" there initially in your partnership.

Love is an Experience, yet it is the LOVING open & honest COMMUNICATION that you two experience together that will be the 'glue' within the plan you create in order for your bond to last. Truly, when love is the foundation or 'ROOT' of a relation then when 'that love' ceases or fails to continue to exist, it is always the communication that the couple is either 'experiencing or 'NOT' experiencing that is the real issue----and it all began before the lying, cheating, disrespectful actions took place. Let's talk about this together, NOW!
