Repeating History
Greetings
- Sunday - May 2nd., 2010
I am available today
until 2pm., pacific & then again this
evening between 7pm & 10pm., pacific.
Just Say No!! We've all heard this
phrase, or cliche', so to speak regarding a number of issues that we
must deal with from time to time in our daily lives. We always have
choices & no temptation has the ability to overcome you except what
is common to man. What this means exactly is this: God is faithful; he
will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear. (1 Co
10:13)
Take that a step further ask yourself where you are, currently, in your
faith, & spiritual walk & convictions. It's important for you,
personally, in order to be 'happy, content & secure & at peace'
to be in tune & comfortable in your spiritual walk &
relationship to God. If you are experiencing unrest, or seeking,
searching for 'something'----I guarantee that it is 'GOD' you are
seeking---a deeper spiritual connection with God. After all, God is
Love. Period.
Society uses the term... 'Just say No'. Yet, spiritually this
term applies as well.
In terms of obedience to your godly morals, values &
principles----it is right & just to honor your precious priceless
relationship to God by choosing to honor your convictions. Obedience to
God is determined by your personal relationship to Him. And not about
what society deems as obedience, but what your personal relationship to
God allows you to be convicted over. You know when "GOD" is speaking to
you by virtue of what you will & will not do in the course of your
daily life.
Alcohol & drug use & abuse lowers our inhibitions, causing us to
be less cognizant of actions, words & deeds. Does this mean that we
are never to enjoy a glass of wine? For some of you who are unable to
have control, yes! But for those who are able to 'Say NO'...to 'too
much' wine, of course not. But it does mean that when we do, enjoy a
glass of wine, or indulge in recreational or social behaviors where
alcohol is part of the social situation, it is important that we remain
obedient to right behaviors that will keep us balanced & 'in check'
in how we are behaving.
Are many of us guilty of over indulgence, absolutely! Today it's time to
take a deep look about your life & about your personal indulgences
in your life that are either making your life 'happy' or 'NOT'!
Today's planetary influences allow us to be better able to assess &
evaluate where we are spiritually. We've all behaved in a way that we
may regret, that is the nature of 'human beings', & why we want,
need & desire forgiveness. And
if God can forgive you, then of course you can forgive yourself. After all, you are not greater
than GOD, & God forgives us all when we humbly 'ask'. That is his
promise to us.
Although you want to always do & say the right thing. But are you
going to always remember to do & say the right thing? No! In a
perfect world, yes, but that is unrealistic. You are human, and you will
make mistakes, & deal with failure in your life. But it can all be
overcome & forgiven, & you don't have to feel as though you've
'fallen' from grace. You are always automatically in God's Grace. He
promises us this. By choosing to be alert & cognitive in creating
the right choices for yourself & then making the best decisions
regarding those choices, you will come to terms with 'righteousness' in
realizing that nothing is as precious to God as our obedience to Him.
Obey God & leave the consequences to
Him.
Enjoy
your day, & week ahead.
Blessings,
