Emotional tension is in the air as the work week launches today, Monday. A certain amount of stress over deadlines, quality of work, and what the next step in a relationship might be, is often a good thing. Thinking about your ideas then turning them into a plan of action helps you gear up to move ahead. And, like many other days, the key to any good, solid, productive plan, is good and thorough communication. Sometimes you have to pick between a strategy of growth, or limitations — staying on budget, or risking reaching beyond it. Weigh these questions wisely and seek advice from those whom you trust.

By tomorrow, Tuesday, you may have received some messages that make you a little nervous, concerned or irritated. That’s ok — if it’s about something that needs further investigation, or perhaps new ideas fostering personal, professional or relational growth, you will still do well to exercise some caution in making any definite plans or reaching any absolute conclusions. If each person in a relationship has a different point of view on how to proceed, then you’ll both need to “dig deep” to find a good solution satisfactory to you both, as well as for the good of the order.

At mid-week, use smart limitations (i.e. budgets, guidelines, job descriptions) to guide you as you come up against some communication challenges on Wednesday. You might feel as though you are near your goal… and you are. But as you know, in business and in romance, it’s all about relationships and working with other people, using all the different perspectives & points of view. Key word: Communication. The important thing is to avoid pushing people away, or blocking off all communication. Handle the matter quickly — & don’t leave it on your desk in the slush pile.
