WE ARE ALL GETTING OLDER
I am very proud of my Mother..she was an entrepreneur in her younger
years, and had a passion and joy for live that was contagious to all around her.
She was incredibly talented,and tried her hand at many things. We used to do
crazy wild and funny things when she
lived in the same town, I miss that.
I think of her speaking about my Grandfather,and how he carefully
chose topics of conversation around the dinner table to instill a social
conscience in my mother and uncle. I have
benefited so very much from my mother and grandparents.
My Mother has COPD, a debilitating illness, "that steals your life
away" according to my mother. Still she manages an active life, became a
published author,and recently participated in the upcoming election by making phone calls from
her
home to encourage
voters..I feel so fortunate to have had her as my mother and mentor.
Here something that my
sister sent me..it took me two weeks to get the nerve
to watch it..its well worth
watching,something we all need remembering.
