How to make your readings more effective!!
This blog will be short, simple and to the point. A reading is effective when it allows you to have enough clarity on your situation to make a healthy decision, even if that decision goes against what you want.
The first step is to eliminate potential confusion. Be as relaxed as possible. If you are frustrated or feeling emotionally intense, wait until you have calmed down so that you can be in a clear state of mind.
The second step is to take notes from your reading and notate which advisor told you what. That way you can refer back to your notes. Try to avoid getting a lot of readings in a short period of time. Too many readings back to back can put an energy of confusion around you. Remember, your goal is not to see how many advisors you can call, but to get enough information so that you can make an informed decision rather is about work, romance, family, etc. Make sure to take a break in between calling different advisors. Even if you wait a few minutes, hours or days.
The third step is to have an open mind. This doesn't mean that you have to agree with everything that an advisor is telling you, but don't be so quick to reject something that you don't agree with. Take a note of what the advisor tells you and take time to mediate over it. Sometimes, being exposed to a different point of view will help you see your views more clearly, even if you never agree with it. Maybe you will come up with a new idea or a new point of view yourself after being exposed to something different. If you're thinking A, the advisor tells you B, you actually may come up with C.
Once you have come up with your decision based on clarity from your readings, then actually apply it to your life, regardless of your situation. Remember to take it one day and one step at a time. Keep it simple for best results.
