Realistic Resolutions 101

New Years Resolutions.  There's a lot of people making resolutions because it's a new year.  But how many lived up to their resolutions that was made last new years?  There's an alarming high percentage of people who didn't keep their resolutions.   So what can you do differently?

If you find it hard to keep goals that you set in your life, then there is something that you can immediately do to make those goals more realistic.  Set shorter term goals.  In other words, focus on weekly or monthly goals instead of yearly goals.  Often times, people set out very high expectations for a year's time.  And even if you do set a yearly goal, make sure you have other smaller goals, like stepping stone goals along the way.  This is why weekly or monthly goals are recommended.  You can even try daily goals.  The key is to move forward and make progress CONSISTENTLY.
