Lemonade Day...

My listings are still in 'pending acceptance' status and not displayed yet and am  unable to send mail at this time.  If I haven't responded to your inquiry, I will as soon as I am able.  HOWEVER, I am still available to sign on and take calls and can be reached through 1-800-ASK-KEEN, ext 545635 (LILMEL) or through my blog listing from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. and this evening from 5 pm -11 pm  CST w/short breaks in between.  If I am on a break,  please use the arrange-a-call feature.  Hopefully this is fixed soon--I was told it could take up to 3 days to resolve--will keep you posted as I am able!

On a more positive note....

It is going to be another scorching hot day here! I had to cut my morning run short because of the heat, but still manage to get 3.5 miles.  Now I am sipping on a tall glass of ice-cold glass of homemade lemonade.  Next to sweet tea, homemade lemondade has to be the best thrist quencher!  Even when I make it using the Kool-aid brand mix, I always slice up freshh lemons to put it in--it's just not the same without the lemons.

When I was a little girl growing up my grandmother used to say, "When life hands you lemons, you use those lemons to make lemonade!"   I wasn't sure exactly what she meant because I loved fresh lemons!  I would run around squeezing every last drop of juice out of a lemon then eating the 'meat' part...making everyone that watched gasp!!  :)

Now I know that she was referring to lemons as challenges and making the best out of a difficult situation.  Her grandmotherly advice as served me well over the years, as I trudge along this long winding highway called life.  God has blessed me with bushels of lemons and I have been quenching my thirst on homemade lemonade since I was a young girl!   It's in my nature to make the best of every situation...and today is no exception.

It is difficult to be available to take calls when you listings are not displayed for others to see, and you can't email your clients to let them know what's going on.  BUT...I am confident that those who need my help will be lead to me  and we will all be blessed in the process!

I look foward to connecting with as many of you that God sends my way today!

Blessed be...life is still wonderful for me!

We will be heading out to TN in the morning and from what I gather, it's very hotter there!  I will be sweating like a little piggy for sure! lol

Oh well, if your gonna be outside...drink plenty of fluids, rest often, and entice your neighbors into a water fight!!! LOL

A while back, I received a hint that makes making homeade lemonade very easy.  Simply slice your lemons in half and heat them for a few minutes in the microwave....the juice pours out of them and the rest is easy to squeeze out.  I would heat about six halves 2 to 3 minutes....but microwaves vary.  Then simply add your water and sugar and you're ready to go!

Amy,

Thanks for sharing that useful hint, I will have to try it next time!

Btw, just to let you know...I am unable to send email to clients until I am out of 'pending status'...so I will respond to emails as soon as I am able. :)

Hope all is well with you!
