Shoe on other foot...
Shoe's on the other foot today...as I am the one needing some advice, guidance, or suggestions. Here's my situation: I have been invited to give 'life affirming sessions' at several upcoming events, parties, and office gatherings within our local area. Although I have never ventured into this forum of 'readings' before (i.e. psychic parties) and have turned down invites in the past, this time I feel guided to travel this path. In other words, my event coordinator has convinced me that there is a 'demand' for me at the moment. Hmmm, whatever that is suppose to mean! Apparently since I have published a book, made the front page twice this last month, and appearred at a well-known book store they decided to stop poking fun at my chosen profession and are suddenly 'intriqued'. LOL On a more serious note, I think it might be a fun way to meet new people and interaction with persons in the 'flesh'! :)
I am seeking some suggestions from both sides of the fence; Advisors & Seekers.
For Advisors who have worked this type of venue before, any suggestions? Do's or Don'ts? Pros or Cons? Any input would be appreciated.
For Seekers/Clients: Have you attended an event where readings were offered as part of the event? Anything you would like to share? What you liked? Didn't like? Mistakes made by host, coordinator, or advisor?
