Sunday Scribbles...
Good morning everyone! Where did the weekend go? I just realized the last time I posted a Keen blog was on Thursday! So here I sit, shaking my head, trying to figure out where the weekend has gone.
Let's see, on Friday I began the task of getting my home ready for the holidays--it takes me almost two weeks to completely decorate my home inside & outside. After spending a few hours getting the decorations from the attic....the lighted lollipops are alongside the drive, the reindeer firmly planted on the front lawn, and wreath on the front door. Then realizing that I was missing all the outdoor lights & garland (still in the attic), I stopped for the day. That was Friday...still waiting for my daughter to help me get the lights from the attic and then be available to hold the ladder while I put lights around the house....let's hope she finds time to assist me before it gets any colder out there! And yesterday??? I think yesterday was spent cleaning??? Man..do I hate getting old! lol
Oh the joys of the holidays!!! Actually this is my favorite time of the year. Once my home is completely decorated, the gifts bought, packages wrapped...it will be time to sit back and enjoy the holiday season! :)
