True Freedom

Celebration of our freedom this 4th of July is more than what is written in the Declaration of Independence. It is up to each of us to decide what energies are acceptable in our life. The first step toward personal freedom is to make a declaration for ourselves! This declaration we make for ourselves can be established once we have taken some time to observe ourselves in a very detailed way. This is a step towards personal freedom.

By observing ourselves, our behaviors, thoughts, and attitudes we display, we can find ways to free ourselves of negativity. This is not about judging one self. No, it is about watching yourself and how you are reacting to daily events. Or, perhaps in watching yourself you may observe that you are not reacting. You may observe that you are often in situations that you allow others to ‘step all over your energy field’ or you may find yourself barking at people too quickly! You may later wish you said or did this or that or you may wish you hadn’t said or did this or that. Regardless of what you may observe about yourself, the key is to not judge yourself and just observe!

The key to true personal freedom is to find a happy balance. Each and every one of us may find this balance in a different way. There are many paths to balance. I have found self-observation, meditation, plenty of sunshine and fresh air, regular exercise, lots of fruits and vegetables, good vitamins; laughter, plenty of rest as well as play and more laughter, all contribute to balance in my life. We can be easily pulled off our target, yet we can just as easily be put back on track.

In keeping with my teachings, I have been making time for my family this past week; indulging myself in some fun, play, and merriment.  Now it is time to get back to work.  I will be available for calls today from 12 noon – 11 pm (CST).  I look forward to contacting with you.
