Just so you know!

Just so you guys know that when you block email on Keen you also block that person from calling you. Just thought you would like to know that for all you advisors out there.

I think there is a site wide glitch that has been reported to Keen many advisors are discovering that numerous callers advisors and members are blocked from their accounts. It is a glitch and not done purposefully.. I realize for some that it is, however, it is an error that I do hope they soon fix it.. I learned that there were a few blocked from calling me and I did not block them, and in fact they are not even in my data base.  Have you experienced being blocked by someone? Perhaps you can get a message to them some other way to learn for certain. Best regards,Evolu~

I think she means when a customer writes a reader and asks to be removed from their mass mailing list, instead of moving those customers to a "Do Not Mail" list, they block.  Which, as she stated, blocks the customer from ever calling.  I have had that happen a few times -- really wanted to call the reader, but, didn't want the mass emails.   Therefore, reader missed out on my business.

Nova.. Yes I do understand this from that perspective, that was why I specifically asked if someone had blocked her for this reason, what I was stating is very clearly there is a glitch in the system. I personally never block anyone, and I don't block for mass mail.. I just delete.. and I have had a few contact me through others saying that I had them blocked... I did not purposefully block them...and I cannot unblock them because they are not even in my data base.. it is a serious glitch... Keen is working on that glitch now.. whether it gets fixed remains to be seen. I was merely clarifying and offering a different perspective. I feel most advisors are aware that when they block, it blocks everything.
