A Special Recipe for Love on Valentines Day!

If you're a couple like most-you may be on a 'shoestring budget' in todays economy.

How can you make Valentines Day special AND affordable?

Maybe you're a guy who doesn't want to spend a fortune dining out-and you aren't a 'chef'.  Regardless-you'd like to give you mate a special Valentines' Day 'treat' without spending a weeks pay-possible? YES!

This can go for anyone-male OR female-so below are some 'tips' to spice up Valentines' Day for your lover!

Recipe for Love:

20 frozen shrimp (NOTE: cook shrimp by directions-simple unthaw-and cook 10 mins!*)-simple to do-COOK EARLY-then put in fridge to chill. Lemon wedge (cut into slices and put in fridge*)  Later layer shrimp on glass dish-and center lemon wedges on top in middle
(*shrimp cocktail sauce IF preferred*)

1 Box Spaghetti (cook 9-11 minutes*)
1 Jar of ANY Gourmet spaghetti sauce of your choice-add to sauce-1 Jar mushrooms cooked in butter (drain liquid*) Cooking time for both: 11/12 Minutes

Simple salad (*lettuce/cherry tomatoes/carrots(pre-shredded*)/cheese cubes (sm. bag*)/bread cubes 1 bottle of Italian or olive oil vinegarette-or your choice of dressing.  Toss salad ahead of time in large bowl-seal in large plastic bag-fix when ready!

1 loaf of french bread
AND 2 bottles chablis wine or burgundy (your choice of wines*) Chablis is always a good choice! (one bottle for meal-one for later*) (chilled*) Simple wine glasses-or can be found cheap anywhere!  Get the shrimp prepared-next the salad-and voila-you only have to COOK for 10 minutes prior to company coming!

Decorate the dining table-simple clean-set for two-use sturdy candle holders-use red candles to enhance romance!  Also-place a scented candle-angelwhispers or vanilla in a safe area just before company arrives.

This is a quick but simple meal-cold boiled shrimp, hot spaghetti, a simple salad, french bread AND a bottle of chablis!  While out shopping you can buy some red roses/candy and a card for your beloved!

Just remember-even 3 red roses, a simple card and a small box of chocolates-can mean EVERYTHING to any woman!  It's not what you SPEND-it's how you give of YOURSELF on this day!

EXCHANGE a LIST of the things you LOVE THE MOST about your MATE!  Post it on your frig and READ IT-it's a reminder WHY you fell in love during 'issues'!

While out grab the funniest movies that you and your significant other ever saw-and rent them!
FUNNY movies will make even the most stressful week FORGOTTEN-and laughter cures any tensions between lovers!  Find ways to SHARE laughter at least one night a week!!

Lovers quarrels can be dissolved and diffused
by laughter-on any day of the year!

Valentines isn't about WHAT you spend-

it's about HOW you spend it!

ENJOY!
