An Evening Prayer for Blessings
Tonight ends the National Day of Prayer. I wish to end on one. This prayer is for everyone-who has a need-you will find it 'here'. I'm not ashamed to pray and never will be. Here is my prayer...
Father God,
I thank you for this country, the freedom we have here that some wish to censor-let your will be done-not mans'. I thank you for those who serve in the military to protect our land and homes-may we always be reminded of their sacrifices-bless them and their families. Give our President wisdom- lead and guide him-and those who serve within State, Federal and Government offices. Let those in places of authority no longer be afraid to take a stand for what is right and just. I ask you to empower this country again-give people jobs that have none, protect their homes-restore everything back to all who have suffered losses in any area of their lives. I thank you people remember to give thanks for what they have-remind us daily we are blessed when we have anything we can share with others. I pray that anyone who has a need-be it big or small-emotional, mental, physical or spiritual be blessed tonight. Where that one is grieving for a friend or loved one-give them peace. I pray marriages be restored that have been torn apart-and where there is a broken heart-heal and restore that one. I pray for everyones' friends, family, loved ones, companies in business, employees and their co-workers--that ALL their needs be met and they be blessed in all they do. Restore back to the United States-and all people from all over the world-hope again in their every dream and know always they are loved. Renew people in their spirit Lord-to know you still hear the whispers in the night-in the simple but powerful words of a prayer. May those who read this prayer be blessed now and forever...
