Angels - The Messengers of Our Lives (Part 2)

What did it look like?  Was it a whisper a feeling? Some claim messengers send 'intuitive messages' to them and speak through them.  Some claims have been made that some people ARE 'angels'-or became one after death.  Some of the information here was from my own studies over a period of 20+ years-emails frieinds have sent and public information.


Regardless of what we have been taught Angels are defined as Messengers from God.  They exist even today in most all religious beliefs-be it Christianity, Judaism, Islam to even Eastern Religions such as Buddhism.  Angels portrayed in the Old Testament appear to many without 'wings'-but were still messengers but didn't look like the 'pictures' we think of as angels.  Over time their likeness began to change-beginning in other forms winged creatures, bright lights, appearing in many sizes, shapes and forms throughout history.

Years ago someone I dated told me of a church in another town.  The church had burned to the ground-EXCEPT for the 'altar'.  The congregation was grieved at the loss of the church-but another quickly was built and the 'old altar' was restored and placed back into the church.  Many came that first Sunday to celebrate their new sanctuary.  The 'story' goes like this..

That Sunday the choir began to sing.  Suddenly children began to point up and giggled in glee.  The adults got flustered at the kids of course-but many also wondered why all the commotion. One kid after another began staring at the old altar piece-and pointed.  The parents and the choir all stared as out of this altar one ANGEL after another began to step out and then marched straight out the door of this small country church.  EVERYONE saw it-the Pastor, his choir who by then had stopped singing.  In awe they watched Angels ascend out silently marching in formation.  It made the 'small town' gossip of the week!  The conclusion made was that all these Angels had been trying to 'protect' the most sacred part of the church.   They suceeded; and once their assignement was completed-they simply 'left the building'! *S*

How many angels exist?  In every version of the Bible it is said that  there are 'ten thousands upon ten thousands' surrounding the Throne of Heaven.  Michael and Gabriel are two of the Chief Archangels.




The medical profession has acknowledged little as to 'healing from angels'-but more claim it was a 'higher power' or the persons will to live. But how can you argue with 'miraculous healings' or 'miracles'-when so many claim they were touched 'by an angel'?  Yet many people have vivid memories of those around a hospital bed-and also 'viewing family members actions' while in an unconcious state!  Documented accounts today flood the media about ANGELS!

Angels are a mystery to all who are touched by them.  Many people who have life death situations-later claim they were 'forewarned'.  There are many people we may come into contact with that have a 'glow about them' that is unexplainable!  They are super high energy-people can FEEL something special or DIFFERENT when around this persons presence. Are they angels in human form?  It is said in the Bible "Beware-lest ye entertain angels as strangers unaware.' 


There is a book out called Tara's Angels*. This young lady passed at the tender young age of 15.  She was into angels-reading all about them daily. I've read her story-and it is fascinating!  Her family runs a well-known shop called Tara's Angels in San Juan Capistrano, California which sells beautiful angel items.  The compassion of this story is beyond words.
