Are you looking for "Mr. Right"? Does such a person exist? There is such a thing as finding the right mate-vs. White knight! MEN refer to women who seek 'Mr. Right' forever as a term they and others even refer to as the "White Knight Syndrome"!
What SHOULD a woman look for when looking for a mate to share their hearts with? According to the average male - they want women to be more realistic with their expectations-of having a 'REAL MAN'-who is NOT perfect-but is the average guy who works hard-saves money-has goals for himself and wants to SHARE his life with a woman who doesn't 'want it all'! He is NOT perfect or look like a the models on a magazine or tv-but does take pride in his appearance and who he is in life! Most men want one thing-an open and honest woman! Women that aren't afraid to speak their mind-but are independent-know how to express themselves and aren't afraid to do new things-even share the interests of her MAN-including sports-things that matter to him! At the same time-they do want a a woman that has a life of her own-a career and hobbies and interests that she is involved in! A man wants times of sharing-but also not a woman who is a couch potato-just waiting for him to 'fulfill her needs' emotionally/mentally at the drop of a hat! That is not only impossible-but also very unrealisitic!! Men want a woman who cares about herself-her appearance and also how to fulfill her own time with things she enjoys! Not a woman who is waiting for her knight to 'make her life complete'! Men want a woman who is 'complete' with who she is NOW!
What qualities should you be seeking in a man or potential mate?
1. Know exactly what you're looking for in terms of what's important-yes that includes morals/spiritual values etc!
2. Be realistic about appearances yours AND his! Be open to getting to know the man for who he is - not for what he looks like!
3. Keep it 100% REAL AND HONEST! Relationships must be based on trust, honesty and both individual AND common goals!
There are a whole world of men just waiting to meet REAL women like this-and age has nothing do with it so much as women who won't compromise VALUES for what they are looking for! Women over the age of 30+ complain sometimes there 'isn't anyone out there'?! You are not looking in the right places and/or have given UP and gotten complacent about just accepting being alone! A lot of women over 40 find themselves lonely, hurting and frustrated after a bitter divorce-and can become involved with a man who is married-hoping and praying 'one day' he'll leave his current spouse--and then one day months later realize he's not going to leave at all. This is a common thing among many females (young and older*)-that have went through a traumatizing divorce-and who don't take time to re-discover who they are-as a newly 'single' woman who is still hurting and vulnerable. They haven't taken time to find out who they are and become HAPPY just being a single woman WITHOUT a mate! A common question to readers is 'WHEN will I meet my mate'? A very reasonable answer and one that needs be stated is 'When YOU change the way you are trying to FIND a 'mate' and keeping realistic expectations and values about what you want IN a new mate!
