Definitions Of Karma

Karma:  the force generated by a person's actions held in Hinduism and Buddhism to perpetuate transmigration and in its ethical consequences to determine the nature of the person's next existence

Karmic Debt:  The force generated from an ethical consequence that requires you to owe something to the person affected.

One area most don't think about Karmic Debt with, is the in the use of spells, which our done to aid us in our personal goals.  What people don't realize is that yes, they may get what they are working towards and be very happy, but there could be a negative karmic impact if someone else was hurt for us to obtain happiness.  Therefore, always make sure you check on your karmic debt, or the results of what would happen in the long run, if you are going to embark in the direction of spell casting.  (Scroll your mouse down below these paragraphs to see other postings similar to this one.)

# re: Definition For Karma; Karmic Debt

From reading the definition from the dictionary about Karma, it appears that the Hindus and the Buddhists feel that Karma affects lives that occur after this one.  To me, I feel Karma exists in every way possible.  I believe it's there in the good and the bad, the past, present and future, and possibly even the next life to come.

I also found it interesting, that debt looked up on it's own is considered a sin or a trespass.  I always just knew it as the obligation that was put down there, and always thought of it in terms of money.  But Karmic Debt is a very real thing, so I looked up both, and it's rather interesting to me that debt has to do with a sin or a trespass.  So a debt can also be considered spiritual.
