God Didn't Create The Earth In Seven Days
God Could Not Have Createn The Earth In One to Seven Days
I've been homeschooling my children, which has really enhanced my mind and has given me more to think about. So you wonder what's running in my mind right now that goes with the creation of the earth, as stated in Genesis, and the answer is simple: 'earth science'. We are at the beginning stages of the text book, where it talks about when earth took place, and became a planet that could house trees, etc. Humans did not evolve for about thirty-four million years after the earth was created. So what's this nonsense about Adam and Eve being created immediately after the earth?
Does anyone else see anything wrong with this picture? It took millions of years for mankind to even come about after the creation of earth took place. Which scientists have come to believe was from space matter that collided with one another because eveything was colliding with everything else. Then the gases that exist from the length of the sun create the weather patterns and what you see in the sky. The sun provided the light for all of this, so does it ultimately mean that light would have always been pointing towards the earth? If this were the case, then the bible should say that God created the planets before he created earth. I know that he created the heavens, but all in one day when it takes this long for earth to evolve?
I guess it just boils down to how you think the heavens came about, but look at how the past that couldn't explain things, always linked things to the unknown in the spiritual realm. Now I still believe something universal put us here, whether it God, or be it another spiritual name, but I just don't believe he did all of this in seven days, nor do I necessarily believe that bible that's out there.
What's your opinion on what I just threw at you?
