MY MIND'S LIKE FREUD
I wanted to come up with something fresh and new, so pondered over the bible, and discovered that God sends angels from heaven to give us messages in our subconscious state. These messages help us to deal with situations, thoughts, concerns or events that are happening in our daily lives.
I channelled this information all by myself, and was very proud when I was finished, only to be told that Freud had much of the same theories himself. Just a few differences though. This made me quite proud, considering he was a famous person, and without even caring who he even was until the point of finding out he thought like me, I came up with just about everything he did..
Differences & Similarities With Freud's Thoughts On Dreams
Freud had different titles than I had come up with for the dream types, and I had a few more than he did, but for the most part, we both understood the significance of a dream.
The problem I had with his basis of thinking was with my technique, a nightmare was something to be faced to deal with a fear, and Freud thought a nightmare was something someone wanted to have happen to them, requiring serious psychological help. I very much disagree with that fact.
He also believed that when someone had a dream where they felt it so much, particularly with sexual acts, they had problems in need of serious help, and with me, well, I believe that is called Lucid dreaming. One step above astral travel, but still needing to be developed by learning how to wake one's self up during the dream to control it.
Other than that, basically, our ideas were the same, only I did something Freud did not, I figured out a way to figure out what each of the dreams actually mean.
