Loving One Another Means Not Judging Those Different Or Less Fortunate

Everyone In This World Wants Love

Something has been on my mind lately, and I guess I just want to share it.  The area I live in is a small little town.  It's not very big, and has really only one nationallity in it.  This nationallity is pretty much caucasion, and throughout the course of time, has been known to be prejudiced to liking just the majority of people who live there.  This means:  there are no african americans that had lived in this area for most of my whole entire life.  Until one day, there was a family of african americans that moved in.  I guess I never realized how hard that could really be until one of my friends moved away to an area that consisted of only african american, and no white.

As my friend was telling me, her children have no animosity, and were never taught to dislike anyone of any other natonallity.  What they were taught is that all nationallities have something to offer and through sharing and caring, everyone can learn something of value.  Only, now, her children have been forced to deal with not only some very nice african americans, but also some very predjudiced ones as well.

It's very hard moving from something you considered to be very safe, and very easy to feel safe with people who are all the same as you, but very uncomfortable when your whole existence has changed, and you are now the only ones who are 'not the same'.  This makes me think a lot about what this world has become today.  Rather than expressing and sharing lifestyles, experiencing things and becoming more enhanced, many people just want to shut out human beings when they don't feel they are the same as them, and tend to 'look down' or separate other human beings.

This goes much deeper than mere 'nationallity', and is often found deeply with people who have mental deficiencies or even worst, physical limitations.  Sometimes beauty alone is judged, and so much pain is administered with just the roll of an eye, let alone the exchange of harmful words as well.

I know I may seem preachy here, but the truth of the matter is with every person sitting in a wheelchair, we can learn to understand their physical limitations are but a fragment of the mind, and those that are faced with these obstacles often become stronger in other aspects.  Just like those people who aren't blessed with the intelligent quotient, but can sit down and write a symphony.  As with all of these situations, we need to understand something as simple as life struggles, brainwaves, and color really should be used to enhance our own lives, and through learning from all of these 'different' types of people, we could become a much stronger person than we are today.

Do not judge others, lest you be judged yourself.  What you don't want done to you, you should not be doing to others.  There is something wrong, and something special, about each and every one of us, and if you take the time to open your hearts, rather than cast judgements, you'll discover living in America would be a much happier place to live.
