Meditation And creative visualization
We are going to practice a little visualization technique with the use of this picture. This is meant to relax you, and make you feel rejuvenated at the end of the session. What I want you to do is read the instructions located below the picture and then simply concentrate on the picture imagining what the directions tell you to do. This is a technique that can help invigorate you, and alleviate some of that stress!

You are going to imagine you are standing on a bridge overlooking this little town with the beautiful flowing water. You have had a hectic day, no doubt, and you just want to get rid of some of your exhaustion that seems built up inside. While you are viewing this scene, I want you to think back to something in your day that stressed you out, and from the sheer thought of it, tends to make you feel so exhausted you could just curl up in bed and go to sleep. While you are thinking about your stressful moment, keep your eyes focused on the flowing water, and think to yourself how nice the weather feels, how beautiful everything looks, and how much you desire to go for a swim in the nice clear, reflection of the town's water. Now start focusing on the path you are going to take to jump into the water, and let your stresses start to drift away. You are going to envision yourself walking on the rock ledge at the far end of the lake, where you are going to jump in. The whole while you are walking, take in the trees, the flowers, how they would make you feel, how the scent would affect you. Breathe in deeply as though you are really there. Walk past the poles that are sticking up on that path, and stop before the grate you see in the water, turn, and look at the water again. Now take off whatever attire you are wearing, and envision yourself climbing, jumping, diving, or whatever way you wish to go for your swim. Imagine your head sticking out of the water as you come to the surface while once again staring at the reflection of the water. Imagine how the water would make you feel, how relaxing it really is. Once you feel you have been refreshed by the water, envision yourself climbing up the rock ledge on the left side of the fence, and turn around to walk away, the whole time imagining just how this adventure made you feel. Then take your eyes off the picture, and notice how some of that stress has just been washed away?
