Well, this is a new day and age compared to when I was growing up, and computers were just leading the way to our future.  Before the days of clicking, e-mails, text messages and chat boxes, we more often than not met people we would date in person.  Now, more and more people are resorting to the long distance relationship, involving a computer.  This can have it's pros and cons, and you should make sure you are on the pros side, rather than the other.

One of the hardest aspects of the online dating game, or long distance dating, is the fact that you lack in areas of physical touch.  You also have to trust in someone that you have most likely never met yet, that could be living a life they aren't making you aware of.  Even worst yet, you could be meeting someone who is mentally unstable, or has even left five other women for someone different on the internet.

Even with the lack of physical touch, which is a very strong emotion, people fall just as deeply in love with the person on the other end of a computer as they would have ten years ago at the movie theatre.  Which makes heartbreak a repeated event if you aren't sure of who it is you are sharing your soul with.

Trust is one of the most important aspects of any relationship, and sharing safe, but erotic cybersex can fill the void of not sharing at all, but what happens if you are doing this sharing, giving your heart and soul, and the person you are talking to is just playing an imaginary game of pretend cheating on their spouse?  What if they have three children up in the bedroom while they sneak into the basement to call you at three am?
