Some people may argue that you are wasting your time to get services such as the ones that I currently offer. They have their own opinions and viewpoints, many of which consist of the argument if someone wanted to help someone, they wouldn't charge money. I however, after dealing deep within my inner self, and talking to current clients, have reasons why someone with my gift should be allowed to receive compensation for what they do. This article explains what I mean by this. |
Is It Wrong To Ask For Compensation As A Spiritual Healer?
Once upon a time, I was on welfare, living with my ex-husband, and all the while, sat down for hours upon hours helping people who came across me with their issues using my spiritual gift. Yes, I helped them, but I did not help myself.
When God put us on this earth, and gave us our gifts to share with others, he didn't intend for us to quit living to do this, and for those that disagree with me, let me ask you a question. Who pays for the minister, priest or pastor of your congregation? How do they get to give their services, for FREE, to the people who belong in the congregation? How did Mother Theresa travel to distant places when she was giving of her gift for free?
These people are able to give up their energy and their gifts, to teach and help others, through the money which is raised through donations. The congregation often gives up ten percent of their earnings, which keeps not only the church functional, but pays for the spiritual leaders home, bills and automobile. Mother Theresa flew to her destinations first class, and all of this was done so she could spread her gift to others for FREE. |
I, Too, have to be able to put food on my table, feed my children, clothe not only them, but myself, and be able to keep the home functional, and if I sat here all day without any compensation, I wouldn't be able to do that.
God would never expect me to devote all of my time to those in need, to share his wisdom and words of compassion to end up living in a cardboard box on the street.
Therefore, my congregation, as a spiritual healer who uses her psychic/tarot related gifts, along with an empath style is able to live by the fairness of those people she is helping. When these services are paid for, it enables a person such as myself to devote all of my energies, and undivided attention to those in need, without having to worry what time I have to get to my place of employment.
So no, I don't feel it is wrong to ask to be compensated for my time, or I would have a lot less time to be able to give, and for many, that would mean they didn't receive the help they could have received.
Many Blessings, Teresa |
