Saying Grace... Do you know why some people say Grace before eating?

In ancient times, people said a "prayer" or a "thanks" before eating because it was unknown if they would survive the meal.

Nomadic tribes foraged for food, so they did not know if the food they were about to eat was tainted and would make them sick.

Grace is said now before eating to say Thanks for the bounty before us.

Do you know any other reasons why people said "Thanks" before eating?

The Kitchen Witch~Want a spell? Need a spell?~Here's a quick way to bring more money in~

Oh we all have stuff in our spice rack or somewhere in our kitchen that we can look and find the ingredients for a fast and effective money spell!!! Hey, who doesn't want and/or need more money? Try this and let me know how it worked for you!!!

Ginger or Cinnamon...They burn up quickly and draw just as fast

You must have one of these around...I don't know if I would infuse the 2 together, but if you want to try it go ahead, 2 spices are better than 1... ; )

Each of these ingredients burns quickly and there are two different ways to do this. Some of us Witches have charcoal around, they are small round disks and all you need to do is put some sand on a heat safe plate and then place the charcoal on top of that and light it.

The charcoal will turn gray when it is ready. You can then place some ginger or cinnamon on the charcoal and let the fragrance fill the air. Hmmmm, make sure it isn't near a smoke detector! LOL I have been there! It is quite loud and not very fun. So, anyway, you can let the fragrance fill the air and soon your money problems will get better.

*I can't say they will disappear or you won't have to go to work, but money will flow in a lot easier.

IF, you don't have a charcoal, can't find them or don't know what the heck I am talking about...that is okay because you can...

Place a pot of water on the stove and simmer the ginger and/or cinnamon on the stove top. JUST REMEMBER to turn it off if you leave the house! Safety first!!!

One more thing you can try with the ginger and cinnamon...I bet you never thought of this ; )

Around noon time, try eating 3 ginger snap cookies or 1 cinnamon bun!!! Not bad if you're not on a diet like me! LOL
