The Empress Tarot Card #3

The latest blog saw the Fool learning about the High Priestess-the inward feminine principle. On the third leg of his journey he encounters the outwardly feminine card of the Empress. This epitomizes FEMALE- a vibrant woman pregant with life and creativity. Note the card:

Here we see a beautiful woman with a twelve pointed crown on her head. She holds a golden sceptre in her right hand and is pregnant literally and figuratively with new life. Note theteeming fields around her and the heart at her feet with the symbol of Venus. She is nourishing and abundant with love and sensuality. She is outwardly sensual.;contrasted with the High Priestess whom is inwwardly, mysteriously feminine. This beauty is right out there displaying her soulful and creative nature! She is the original "earth mother". The number 3 is creation itself and the number of God. (Father, Son and Holy Ghost) It is the first true number which forms a shape. The one stands alone, the two is two ones side by side, the three joins together to create a triangle, thus the first sacred geometric shape. In a reading, the Empress denotes fertility and the birth of new creative ideas!
