The Solar Eclipse of September 11, 2007
By Robert Ayres
" This month the New Moon falls in Virgo on September 11. This occurs on the sixth anniversary of the tragic terrorist attack on New York City and Washington, D.C. It is a solar eclipse, which gives added intensity to the event. In addition, there are quite a few conflicted aspects creating the possibility for a nasty surprise.
The basic keyword for Virgo is I Analyze. This sign of the zodiac is a mutable earth sign, which translates as earthy or worldly wisdom. It is the wisdom we develop as a result of our life experiences. The Virgin rules the intellect which expresses the rational, logical activities of the mind. The intellect is questing for truth in order to establish our life on a strong and stable foundation. When our thinking is established in truth we are in harmony with life and the divine plan. The Virgin is purity and Virgo wants us to purify our minds so that we can know and live the truth.
The New Moon eclipse falls in Virgo 18 degrees. The keyword for this decanate is Experience. The experience that is referred to is the experience of good and evil. There is a need now for discernment and discrimination. We must be able to differentiate between light and darkness, good and evil, right and wrong. The principles of morality and ethics need to be understood and lived.
The New Moon eclipse is part of a grand cross configuration. A grand cross is the most stressful, challenging aspect possible. The Sun/Moon conjunction is opposed by Uranus and squared by Mars and Pluto, which are in opposition to each other. Uranus is also in square aspect to Mars, Pluto, and Jupiter. Jupiter is also squaring the Sun/Moon conjunction. There are six out of ten planets involved in this grand cross.
Sudden, explosive, violent changes are possible. This can result in attacks, war, accidents, and sudden changes. There is a possibility for reason—Mercury, the ruler of the chart—to mitigate some of the extreme possibilities. Be mentally clear and grounded and do what needs to be done.

The Full Moon falls in Aries on September 26. The Moon is in opposition to the Sun in Libra. The Aries/Libra polarity represents the dynamic relationship of the self with others. Aries’ fundamental keyword is I Am. It is primarily focused on self-discovery through action. The Ram is a cardinal fire sign, which translates as spiritual will power. It is passionate and dynamic, tending to butt its head against others."
Since there are so many planetary oppositions occuring on this date, this a time of stress and soulsearching. Also, it is the anniversary of the devestation at The World's Trade Center six years ago. The evil lurks and the politicians are still keeping us, the public, in the dark. The United States was forever changed on that day. Lets continue to say prayers for the peace of all and the protection of our troops overseas.
