Blessings!
Yesterday was the 12th Anniversary of the Oklahoma City Bombing and this week the World has grieved another senseless tragedy.
My Uncle Pete or Uncle Jr. as we knew him died in the OKC tradegy just one month after relocating to OKC from Palmdale, CA to become the Director of Hud. I still remember the events of that day as I was relocating back to San Diego from Seattle with my Father driving my moving truck and my 3 yr. old sitting between us. Pete was my Father's younger brother. Although I know Pete is in a better place and still watches over his 4 children and their children it still brings sadness that his life was cut short by a unneccessary tragedy.
During my morning commune with Spirit and meditations I asked my guides what the most important thing we can all learn from these horrific events, this is what I got:
You do not know the time, the hour or the circumstances that will befall you and your loved ones. Embrace your children, honor your parents, laugh with your friends, be grateful for your peers, be kind to your neighbors (everyone is a neighbor). In doing so you will have no regrets the day you wake up on a different plane or you wake up and someone you know is gone. This planet is transitional, we are here to learn, to love and to experience without reactions but purely from our hearts in a loving place. Bless those that curse you, Bless those that bless you. Guard your tongue, in doing so you will add the love of The Creator to the energy of the planet and will affect great change in the Now.
Today is NOW, Today is all we have! Stay focused on the present and receive the gift of being present for the events that unfold around you. Be present for your partner, your children, your family, your friends and even the unknown people that surround you as you wait in traffic, in line at the grocery store, etc.
Be a Blessing in life and your life will be blessed.
I am grateful for all of you, know that you are loved beyond measure by the Creator of All That Is!!!
