Why Am I Under Attack, Why is This Happening
WHY AM I UNDER ATTACK?
I just had a few conversations with a dear person who has been going thru a growth spurt and along with the growth has experienced a number of outside attacks. Spirit has put upon me to write a blog to help those going thru similar experiences.
As we talked about what was happening and how to handle it I had a Dejavu about writing this blog. So I hope it helps.
Sometimes when we are growing in our Spiritual understanding and our walk with God we get hit by outside influences that would like to cause us harm or hurt. When we raise our vibration up the people in our lives can either grow along with us or stay where they are. But sometimes our change is so drastic it scares them or angers them and they go into attack mode.
At other times when we are doing really well and doors begin to open, jealousy and envy kick in and others want to hold us down or put us in our place. They threaten us and devise stories about us.
All experiences such as this are tests for us spiritually. Will we cave or will we remember that "Not through power, not through might but through God who strengthens me". This spiritual warfare is not in your name or to be done by your might but by the Spirit of God. We must remember we are not struggling with flesh and blood but with spirits and energies that wish to test our faith.
So when others come against you and slander your name, misunderstand your intentions and start rumors about you, don’t be angry with them. Have compassion and love for them. They are but a tool. And even though the things their doing is causing us pain and doubt it will ultimately be used as an avenue of growth for us.
When you choose to walk in the light of love not all will agree with you, believe in you or support you. They may threaten to cause you harm. This is the perfect opportunity for you to send love and blessings. Do not react with fear or defense. That only serves to feed the fire of anger and blame. Allow others the right to their own opinion. And keep in mind someone can only create a struggle with you if you struggle with them. Disengage from the struggle and they will eventually wear themselves out. Pray for them to find truth, pray for them to find love and success, pray they find their relationship with God strengthened.
Then in the quiet moments you spend meditating and praying ask "What is the lesson?" "What am I learning?" And recognize that a door has closed and allow it to remain shut for whatever length of time needed.
If you can go through these tests and trials without reaction based in fear you will grow beyond measure. Resistance in life and with others is part of our testing. The Universe wants to know how serious you are about what you say you want and what you say you are becoming. Things come to test and refine us so that nothing can block us from our walk.
Psalms 91 is listed on my other blog. Use it to pray during tests and trials. Not everyone will support you but I guarantee if you stay strong in your Spiritual Walk you will have more then enough support and providence. And know that if you go off your path of understanding, Spirit will bring you back ever so gently until you are walking upright again.
UNCONDITIONAL Love and Compassion will carry you through. Your hands will remain clean and your heart will remain blameless no matter what you face. And as long as we stay open to what God wants to show us we will remain on our true path in life and Spirit will continue to teach us even if we fall.
