Now THIS is an interesting house indeed.  Most clients begin to get VERY INTERESTED in understanding their Natal Charts once they begin to understand the energies surrounding the Fifth House Ruler.

The Fifth House in a Natal Chart Analysis concerns love affairs, your predisposition toward children, how “dramatic” you may be, risk taking inclusive of gambling or adventurousness, your ability to give and receive love, your perception of how you were nurtured as a child, your innate childlike qualities and your ability to be romantic.

In our example chart the Fifth House Ruler is Libra.

This positioning indicates that the individual will be very likely to have a difficult time in making decisions concerning love affairs, will often have more than one love affair going at a time (due to the difficulty in making a choice and sticking to it), will treat children as people, albeit young people, but be very kind and fair to them, respecting them as individuals, will sway back and forth between being a true risk taker and gambler to being totally conservative and will be quite good and giving and receiving love.

Fifth House Libras will want all to be fair and balanced in their love relationships.  Harmony is very important to them, an inharmonious relationship will cause them great stress and likely drive them away.

The number of planets contained within your Fifth House can also indicate how many children you are likely to have.

This is a very important house to examine concerning relationships within your chart and also within the chart of anyone you are in, or would like to be in, a relationship with.  The insight gained can at times make or break a bond.
