Having a Bad Day?

It Could Always Be Worse!

Those "Bad Days", we all get 'em.

Today I guess is my turn, although I have had worse.

I've been working late, late nights as during the day I am continuing the extensive revisions on my book "Uncloaking The Tarot", and it really is time consuming to basically rewrite everything that I wrote seven years ago.  I have gained much new insight into the cards since my original production, and I want it to be extremely comprehensive and I keep getting more thoughts!

Anyhow, I worked until 3:00 a.m. last night (EST) and couldn't fall asleep as my mind was still racing, didn't go to bed until 8 a.m. this morning.

So....

My husband put the dogs, (Simon, a German Shorthaired Pointer, age 12 and Bella, my baby Brindle Boxer age 9 months), outside for a potty break before he left for work at 6 a.m. and I put them out again at 8 before I went night-night (or morn-morn) lol!.

Simon has full range of our home as he is mature and well behaved, but Bella goes in her crate when she cannot be supervised, as in when I am asleep.

At noon I hear Bella barking incessantly, and Simon, who usually snuggles alongside me when I am asleep and hubby is at work is not in our bedroom.

Uh-Oh.

I jump up out of bed in my T-Shirt and undies and of course bare feet and ....

SQUISH!

A HORRIBLE SMELL greets my sensitive nostrils......

I follow the path of watery doggy doo and stink to find that not only does it start in my bedroom, but continues down the steps, into the living room, through the dining room and out into the kitchen.......

You got it, wall to wall poo!

Ugh!

Poor Simon had a need for some Pepto I guess, and Mommy was sound asleep and he didn't want to wake her!

He was in my office sitting by my desk, looking at me with those big brown eyes that said "I'm sorry, I didn't know what to do".

Two hours of cleaning later....

I log into Keen, and guess what?  I have a few connection issues to add to my already wonderful day, and here I sit, wondering what's next?

Well, the house is starting to clear of the scent of lysol, resolve and carpet fresh, (all of the fans are running), and Simon seems to feel better and is bugging me for a biscuit, and I just think, it could be worse......

Hope your day is better than mine!!!
