Love Expressed, Poetry by Brigid Bishop
A poem for you to think about this weekend.
Love Expressed
by Brigid Bishop
I feel you without any embrace,
no need of recognition fleeting across your face.
I see your naked soul,
and I just know...
I am your shadow, your reflection, your match.
You are my nemesis, an itch I can't scratch.
There is no envy, no pride, no fear,
I just long to hold you and keep you near.
It was not by chance nor fortune's mistake,
I love you like sunrise, my heart cannot break.
Yes, I love you at sunrise, you see me at dawn,
with each passing day, we keep loving on.
No dream nor delusion can keep us apart,
because, you, my dear, you, are my heart.
