Preparing For The Last Mercury Retrograde of 2007

 

Ok guys, it’s coming, we all know it’s coming, now, what can we do to prevent it from throwing our lives into turmoil?

Well, let’s see…

This retrograde will begin at 9 degrees 5 minutes of Scorpio on October 12th.  Pull out your natal astrology chart and locate 9 degrees Scorpio on your chart.  (If you don’t have one, you can request one from me via Keen Mail for $39.99, inclusive of a full one year transit report).

Ok, now, in my chart 9 degrees of Scorpio is EXACTLY where my Neptune resides in my Sixth House.

Now I know where this retrograde will HIT ME.

The slowing period for this retrograde commences on October 5th, so, at that time I will begin to feel the effects of this uncomfortable transit in (Oh NO!) relation to my pets, my health and diet, organization turning into disorganization, my mom (uh oh), my career communications (gulp), and communications concerning all of the above.

Because of my particular chart having Neptune dead in conjunction with this transit, I can take some assurances that this particular retrograde may not nail me as hard as the last one did. 

Why?

Because my Neptune is Square to my Sun, Natal Mercury, Venus and Jupiter…….so………..the Mercury Rx will actually weaken the NATAL influence of the hard aspect that Neptune makes to my inner planets, it’s kind of like a double negative in Algebra making a positive.

Don’t get me wrong, it will not make this a positive celestial event for me, but the usually disruptive influences of Mercury Rx will be weakened by my Neptune, although I can be sure that there will be some confusing days ahead.

Mercury will proceed back to 23 degrees 22 minutes Libra on November 1, when the retrograde itself ends, however, the energy will not fully clear until November 6.

In my chart, the retrograde will end in my Fifth House, which contains no planets, but does rule my love relationships so, I have to be wary of miscommunications with my husband during this period.

Awareness is half the battle, so get your charts out now and look to see where Mercury Rx will reek havoc on you this time around and prepare as best you can!
