Silly Rabbit, Trix Are For Kids!
Remember that old TV commercial?
That poor, hungry, little rabbit just kept on donning disguise after disguise in order to get his hands on that sweet breakfast treat, a bowl of Trix Cereal.
It's kind of like what we do when we are on the prowl for a new relationship.
We know it will be sweet, we're hungry for it, and we disguise ourselves in oh, so many ways, to try to sneak up and grab that big bowl of sugar!
Just like the Silly Rabbit, we are often discovered just at the moment when we think we are going to satisfy our desires.
Bummer.
The disguises we hide be hind peel away like the layers of the skin off of an onion until the true personality we possess is exposed, and it frequently does bring tears to the eyes.....
It's so much simpler when, as we are scouting out our prospects, we let our true selves shine through.........that way, we have no disguise to shed, we don't have to be peeled, and the relationships we form are true to our natures, and thus, work out much better in the end.
Silly Rabbit! Here's your bowl of Trix. All you had to do was ask!
Be Real. Be Yourself. Be Loved For Who You Really Are!
P.S.
When I was a little kid, every time a new Trix commercial came out, I secretly hoped right up until the very end of the two minute drama, that he would get to eat the cereal........I always felt so sorry for him!
