The Arabic Parts of Your Astrology Chart

Astrology is a study much like the study of the Tarot, it goes on for a lifetime, there is always something more or deeper to learn.

I have recently begun studying the Arabic Parts of the Natal Astrology Chart.

It is very interesting.

I had already been familiar with the “Part of Fortune” but never really was aware that there are over 100 “parts” or “allotments” according to this ancient astrological tool.  The Arabic Parts are a fairly complex calculation based on a measurement between two points, less the position of a particular planet, pretty intense.

When you plot the Arabic Parts on an individuals’ Natal Chart you can gain even more insight into Predictive Astrology.

Some of the Arabic Parts are:  Accord and Harmony, Ancestral Heritage, Bankruptcy, Catastrophe, Cooperation, Fulfillment, Gossip, Marriage, Sons, Daughters, Mother, Father, Love and Appreciation, Popularity and Influence, Self-undoing, Social Standing, Sudden Luck, Drastic Change, to name just a few.

An analysis of these Arabic Parts is very enlightening, reviewing the positions and the aspects that they make to each other is very revealing.

Locating say, the "Part of Marriage" will give you timing of the marriage, the energy of the marriage, etc., and analysis continues throughout the over one hundred allotments.

I ran an Arabic Part report on my relationship with my husband, and, unbelievably, the Marriage Part ties in to the chart with amazing accuracy, as it does in our natals!

A very interesting subject of study that I am just familiarizing myself with and that you may find interesting as well!

When I look at the Arabic Parts for my Natal Chart, I have a very heavy concentration of Gemini allotments, and it makes a lot of sense as many of the significant events of my life have occurred under the influence of Gemini and it is my rising sign, so I ran several other Arabic Part Reports on friends and family and found that this does not hold to a standard, it varies with each chart.

For instance, my son has Aquarius Rising but the heaviest concentration of his allotments are in the sign of Leo, his third house, and with my younger son, who has Gemini Rising as well, his heaviest concentrations are in the sign of Pisces, his tenth house.

I am really fascinated by this aspect of expanding my knowledge of astrology and learning the interpretative possibilities is quite the challenge!
