The Honeymoon Is Over!
The Honeymoon is Over!!
No, not really, we’re not going away until late fall or early winter…just kidding!
I posted just a few pictures that a friend had emailed us from The Wedding, and I will post some of the professional shots when I receive them. I had to take a few days off to return the tuxedos and items we rented for The Wedding and to write my thank you cards, I am so proud of myself, they are completed and on their way to our generous guests, and to file all the necessary paperwork to complete my name change……..
So, now I am coming back! I will finish out this week with a light schedule, and next week you can expect to see my hours of availability increase dramatically as I want to firm up a regular schedule and bring some order to my chaotic lifestyle!!!
I felt like My Wedding Day went perfectly.
I couldn’t have been happier!
ALL of our many guests seem to have had a good time and the feedback that we got from those we had contact with was fantastic! It was as if we had the wedding of the millennium! It lasted from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. that night.
There was dancing, singing and merriment for twelve hours straight! What more could you ask for in celebrating a love?
I walked down the aisle with Justin, my son, to the song “In My Life” by The Beatles. Our Recessional Song was “That’s Amore” by Dean Martin. Our first dance was to “Unchained Melody” by the Righteous Brothers, during the karaoke portion of the reception just about all of our guests got up and gifted us with some romantic (or funny) song. It was a blast!
It was really funny when the limousine was taking my mom home, it got stuck on the way out of the parking lot as it couldn’t make the tight turn!! All of the guys were outside in suits and ties pushing the stretch limo to get it out onto the highway…..
It was a fun time!!
I look forward to reconnecting with you all, now that life is going to resume a normal pace again and hope that this blog finds you well and progressing along your own personal paths to happiness.
