Earlier this week, I took care of my two children who came down with the flu.  High temps; body aches, cough, sore throat...you get the drift.

I made certain I washed my hands thoroughly after making their meals, straightening their beds, fluffing their pillows, because I didn't wan't to get what they had.

Thursday I started getting achey.  I had a slight cough.  Yesterday I figured if I persevere, I can beat it....I took it easy during the day and went to bed early last night

I woke up this morning feeling like I was hit head on by a Mack Truck doing 100 mph down I35E here in Dallas....and he's dragging me through Texas during the severe thunderstorms we're having right now.

The aches are excruciating.....Tylenol isn't helping!  Hot tea and gingerale just make me go to the bathroom more.... I can't see straight.....my head is pounding..........

I SURRENDER...I'VE GOT THE FLU!!! 

I'm going back to bed ...I'll pray y'all don't get this flu...it sucks!
