Physical Pain

I wanted to share with anyone in pain mainly physical but can also be emotional too. What they can do to help themselves.

I to suffer with constant pain. and if you have seen many doctors as have I, that do not want to listen to you then please don't just take there word for it that you must be imagining it.

Remove toxic people from your life—as stress and strain that comes from bad relationships makes pain worse.  It’s appropriate to walk away from inappropriate people!

Women suffer much more than men usually as we are care givers of our children and other family members and friends.

Remember You COUNT TOO!!!

And Please RUN don't walk from a doctor who will not listen to you or doesn't seem to really want to help you.

Blessings

# re: Physical Pain @ Wednesday, November 12, 2008 2:25 AM

Been there!! I think women tend to listen to their doctors more then men and really count on their professionalism. (Men tend to fight going..this is a generalization I've noticed from talking to other women.)I have been fortunate in not having one doctor tell me it was all in my head..well I had one! lol. And at that time I had the strength so say hey wait a minute I have proof here lol. When you are in pain or ailing, and desperately need help its so easy to fall into the trap of wanting help so bad you will listen to anyone. Especially when answers are hard coming forth. So remember everyone its ok to shop around for the doctor or caregiver you want. I have interview questions and require an interview when seeing someone new. They will often see you for a consult prior to an appointment. ASk questions. Do not get stuck with that doctor that has the God complex and is not enlisting your help in your own care! ITs your right, you are the paying customer!

Kelley,

You are so right! Thank You for your comment.
I have to find another one as mine is a man who thinks he knows everything and wont even give his patients in sever pain ANY pain medicine, just makes more money on the referrals he does, after making it on seeing you that day.

And women remember it is ok to tell them "hey this is bull(bleep)!" It is my body and I think I know it better than you!!!!!".
