You are never a one-person operation. Even if you are a sole-proprietor, you still rely on your customers or others to promote your service. The more customers you have, the more they will share their experience with others who may need your service as well. Remember to regard the people you share your service with as part of your team. Then, they will have a vested interest in what you are doing!

When you listen to others, you are doing a great service to them. Remember not to give advice...only suggestions. By allowing them to regroup with you what they are learning in their own life, you will be able to relate to what they have experienced and build on what you are learning about yourself. This is why we need people to learn and grow spiritually. Don't take anyone for granted. Even if you pass someone in the street, there is something you can learn from them. How did they carry themselves? Were they confident? Were they arrogant? We are always comparing ourselves with others in our environment. The key is not to judge...just evaluate. There is nothing wrong with sizing a person up to see where they are coming from. You are always in control of your own energy.
