Be Ye Resurrected
When I think of the wonder and the beautiful gift of Easter. I cannot help myself. I get so excited because the true gift of Easter and all that it represents ... it makes us nearly ... gods! At least, little gods because it gives us power beyond measure through our belief system.
The universe bows to listen to us! The angels bow down to help us! Grace and mercy follows us, all the days of our lives! Blessings and miracles are within us! Forgiveness and faith opens the gates of heaven! Nothing is impossible for us! If we could only comprehend and believe it is a gift of love, a gift of grace.
To Bring Good News: 'The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has chosen me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the broken hearted. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free the oppressed and announce that the time has come when the Lord will save His people."
If people truly understood the power in that paragraph, they would recognize that they can escape any illness, any injury and any burden. That they can find love, happiness, financial security and self acceptance by the gift that was given to the world ... so many years ago.
Easter is all about new life. Love has defeated the forces of evil and death. Love calls each of us by name and invites us to a new life. Be attentive to his call to you on this Easter week of celebrations. Be resurrected! Look for signs of the resurrection in your own life. What would you like to resurrect today? Love? Financial Security? Health? Do you need a second chance? Love's resurrection gives us all another chance at creating a better life! Be resurrected today in peace, trust, hope, belief ... that your life will get better and you will find contentment and satisfaction.
