ACCORDING TO THE COSMIC SOCIETY OF PARANORMAL INVESTIGATIONS, FRIDAY THE 13TH TOUCHES A NERVE WITH MOST PEOPLE! DID YOU KNOW:
According to Smithsonian Magazine "Fear of the #13 costs Americans a billion dollars per year in absenteeism, train and plane cancellations, and reduced commerce on the 13th of the month." People are afraid to travel ... they fear accidents or turmoil!

Fear of Friday the 13th dates back to Nordic Mythology. Many of their thirteenth Gods met with violent deaths, such as Loki, the trickster.

I had gone out to run an errand, last Friday the 13th. I knew a lot of people would be on the road and I didn't expect anything to happen, that I couldn't handle. I'm a big believer in angels. Well, I got to one stop light and someone in a truck to the right of me kept creeping into the intersection, then backing up. He had the right of way, my light was red. Well, when my light turned green, he stepped on the gas, plummeting into the intersection and the contents of long metal bars fell out of the back of his truck into the intersection. I had the green light and I felt if I drove over the metal bars, it could cause the car to slide. I couldn't go around them to my left, because there was oncoming traffic. So, I went around the metal rods to my right and slowly made it around them safely ... I noticed the man behind me, followed my lead as well. For a moment I was stumped, that guy must have been drunk in the truck who stopped on his green light and drove on his red light leaving a ton of metal rods in the road. I didn't go out again for the rest of that day ... Friday the 13th!
Superstition? Perhaps!
Originally the word superstition meant something like "standing still in apprehension or awe".
Another way to put it is that superstition is an irrational or nonscientific belief in the existence of certain powers operant in the world, with positive or ill (usually ill) effects, and therefore a concomitant belief in the counter-effects of amulets, tokens and such, and the power of certain actions (or avoidance of some actions, such as not walking under a ladder) to diminish or deflect these ill effects and/or to promote a positive influence. Be careful what you believe to be true!
Practices that deflect bad luck, dark karma and bad energy:
1. Believe that you are protected and blessed. Have a favorite prayer or saying that focuses on the grace and protection that you have among the angels! Believe that anyone or anything trying to send bad luck or bad karma to you ... it will be deflected by your angels ... and returned to them ... seven times worse than when they sent it to you!
2. Trust that the angels will help you over, around or through whatever obstacle comes up before you! Believe the Arch Angel Michael, Arch Angel Gabriel, Arch Angel Raphael, Arch Angel Haniel, Arch Angel Uriel and all others are guarding you and your life and they will bless, protect and guide you into all truth and good fortune. An army of angels are guarding you now!
3. Trust that the power of love, which rules heaven and earth is the only elite power that there is. There is no power greater that can bring you harm if you are protected by the elite power of love, which rules heaven and earth! Believing these three things, will make you almost invincible in the face of superstition. These beliefs brings blessings. The only harm that can come to you is your own superstition. Don't allow your fear or idiosyncrasies condemn you.
