At the end of life we will not be judged by how many diplomas we have received, how much money we have made, how many great things we have done.

We will be judged by "I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat, I was naked and you clothed me. I was homeless, and you took me in."

Hungry not only for bread - but hungry for love. Naked not only for clothing - but naked of human dignity and respect. Homeless not only for want of a home of bricks - but homeless because of rejection.

LIVING OUT OF THE BOX

Society is segmented, wherein the box in which you were born is the box people try to keep you for the rest of your life.  If you are born poor, you should stay poor, it is the box in which you were born.  If you were born under oppression, you should stay oppressed, it is the box in which you were born.  If you are born without friends of influence or power, you should remain without friends of influence or power, it is the box in which you were born.  People don't say it ... but they think it.  The world's supply of good things is greatly limited and much sought after.
 
Society fears not getting enough love! Not getting enough goodness!  Has everyone at war with each other ... trying to keep those down ... trying to get our fair share!
 
 
By withholding love and opportunity from one, we withhold opportunity from ourselves.  It is only by giving love to all, that we can receive love from all.  No one can look at you and know what gift God has created inside of you.  It is only through tolerance, sharing and exploring possibilities do we find water in the desert!  We find love in unlikely places!  We find blessings we did not know existed.
 
 
Share your goodness with the world around you.  Don't just give the bread of life, give friendship to a weary stranger, some have entertained angels, unaware!  Give not only clothes to the shelter for the homeless but also offer inclusion, opportunity for training, work and education.  The homeless not only seek shelter, they seek acceptance and opportunity for a better life.  Offer friendship, encouragement, acceptance and counsel.
 
 
By living out of the box and loving out of the box, we unchain our hearts and we give ourselves the best chance for happiness.  When we can show true love and compassion for others, we show the ultimate love and acceptance for ourselves, breaking the limitations off our own lives ... loving without limitations.
 
There is nothing worse than reaching the end of your life and wondering what could have happened, or should've happened ... if we had dared to love ... out of the box.
