Sad news.
Hi folks,
If you had seen my earlier post, you may have read about how a friend of mine had her mother go missing last week. Her mother was suffering with Alzheimer's disease and it was ravaging her in many ways. This included things like her occasionally wandering off. Last Wednesday night, my friend's mother walked out in the middle of the night while everyone was sleeping.
Today, she was found. Sadly, my friend's mother is dead. They are awaiting news from the coroner's office as to what the cause of death is. My friend and her family have asked me to tell everyone who prayed for them during their hour of need or extended their good wishes that it is deeply appreciated. Right now, they're in shock. There's also a mixture of relief, sorrow, loss, and guilt over there in their house.
I will hear soon what plans are with regards to calling hours and such. I am sure that donations to charity in the name of my friend's mother would be a fine way to honor her memory. I know that those of you who are so inclined and wish to say a small prayer for my friend's family and her mother's spirit would be deeply appreciated as well.
