The law of attraction. creative visualization into physical manifestation. The realization that our dreams, our vision for ourself can be manifested. We hear about this all the time. We try our best to put it into practice, but still our fears, our doubts, slowly creep in, as the fog starts to creep over the land. Fear, doubt, disappointment inches up, we push it away through positive affirmations, but the pushing, the struggle becomes too hard, and we give in letting it blanket us with despair. This is why we need, we desire, we seek spiritual guidance. All of us, come to the place where we just need someone to lean on. To help us believe, to continue to be able to see the vision given us, to lift us above the fog. When I was in "Old Testament History" class in college, the professor told us about when Moses, a prophet of the Israelites, was taking the enslaved people out of Egypt, out of the despair, the darkness their lives were in, They came to the Red Sea. Higher Power said, stretch out your rod over the sea so it will part. Moses stretched out the rod as he envisioned the red sea parting so the children of Isreal could cross over. Now anyone who has ever held out their arm for a long time, knows that it grows tired, we start to droop. Moses' brother and sister, Aaron and Miriam took turns helping to hold up his arm so the sea didn't close up, swallowing the people as they crossed. How amazing is that? Many times Our advisors only help us hold up our arms, when it seems to take forever ( I imagine that Moses sometimes thought these people are moving awfully slow), or that this can't be possible! What power this story has about visualization, about belief, about faith.
" In the daytime, in the night
I have a vision in my sight
I can see it so clear
But it doesn't come near
Perhaps my vision is not even right
But in the time of my prayers
I see the answer there
It is coming my child without delay
we can believe what Spirit may say
In the dreams. " - deborahmills - The Visualization Series - (2010)
