Taking steps
Anyone can carry his burden, however hard, until nightfall.  Anyone can do his work, however hard, for one day.  Anyone can live sweetly, patiently, lovingly, purely, till the sun goes down.  And this is all life really means.  ~Robert Louis Stevenson

As those recovering from anything  say we should take one day at a time.  Not this isn't to say that we shouldn't make long range goals, plan for our future, put aside for a rainy day, but it is to say be willing to detour from the set path when a bump is in the road.  Recently here in Tn, we had some bad tornadoes, storms.  Along the way to my home, some big trees were in the road blocking the way.  Thank the gods for GPS as it showed us another way around the trees to the same goal, the same path.   The next day, the city had cleaned the trees up putting us back on the road the easy, the safe, the sure way.  Today is the only day we have to live our lives toward our dreams, toward our goals.   Today is the day we must concentrate on how we want this day to be, this day to flow, to go.    Yesterday is done.  We can learn from yesterday, but not hold it against ourselves or the others around us.  Tomorrow isn't here yet.  we can prepare for it,plan for it, set today as the goal for tomorrow.  Yet  today we can start brand new, thinking positive thoughts,  send negative energy off to yesterday.  My old mentor used to say if we have to chase the "devil", the negative away every 5 minutes, then do so.   Each moment of today is precious.  We can bear what this moment is giving us, feeling every bit of our feelings, then choose which feelings we want to keep, which we want to give to the universe to deal with, to keep for us.  We can choose to "speak softly, and carry a big stick" (
Big Stick ideology, Big Stick diplomacy, or Big Stick policy is a form of hegemony and was the slogan describing U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt’s corollary to the Monroe Doctrine. Sept 2, 1901. The term originated from the African proverb "Speak softly and carry a big stick; you will go far." then be happy.  This means we can choose to treat everything quietly but be firm, be empathic about our goals, without chaos about it. Today is a good day.  Put on a smile, give a laugh, and be ready for spirit to move.

herb magick:  This is the time of year when we can grow our own in most place.  Planting basil in our garden helps keep aphids  other plant eating bugs from bothering the garden.  When most people don't know about herb magick of basil, is that it is a good money drawing herb.  Eat things with basil in it, Put a smidgen of basil in our candles as
we do our morning rituals, prayers, affirmations.  Don't put too much too fast as it may flare up catching on something else other than the candle.

I am here my usual hours today.  I do so look forward to sharing with each of you..  I'm focusing on sending each person lots of love , light and the fairies to dance around us.  Love ya bunches, me, Bob, bets, T
