running the race. REady to win
Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go. ~T.S. Eliot
The race/run was a marathon.( a long-distance running event with an official distance of 42.195 kilometres (26 miles and 385 yards), that is usually run as a road race from Wikipedia) Suddenly there is a cramp in the side. The runner pushes on, taking the risk to keep going to finish the race, rather than quit. As the runner crosses the finish line, he/she keeps walking risking going too far to walk out the cramp, rather than stop to accept kudos given for a race well – run. Life is much like a race. There are times when we get so tired we feel we must give up. Great spirit must be saying we’re not on the right path, or it wouldn’t be so hard. The runner doesn’t see the cramp as a sign to give up, but a sign to push harder to get done. When the obstacles come, the tough gets going, ready to push even more toward the finish line. When we give up on our dreams, on our race, we have nothing left to hope for, except to settle for losing. As we continue to push forward, we learn what spirit is teaching us, that good things come to those who continue running the race.
Animal totems: People have been known to race almost anything. The most amazing I’ve seen is the turtle races. Slow, moving, seemingly not paying attention to the path, turtles are one of the oldest symbols of earth element. Turtle reminds us to slow down. When the cramps come, it is time to slow down just a bit to get balanced, grounded into the inner being, rather than quitting. Keep moving forward, but steady slow wins the race.
I am here my usual hours today. I will answer all email readings today, . Again I love sharing 2 free minutes with each person, but please please don’t try to get 2 -3 different subjects answered in that amount of time. Sometimes we are talking so fast we have to waste time repeating what we said to understand each other. I understand monies are tight, this is why I keep my rates low. My email readings are just $1. Per question so lets take time to truly help with our readings not do assembly line readings. May the fairies dance around each of us today. Love ya Me, Cherokee, Cidro, Frankiecapone, T and my blessed spirit pups Spongebob Squarepatches, and Betty bop de Bop.
