I have little doubt this post is going to place me squarely behind the 8-ball. Won’t be the first time, so I guess I’ll just brace myself. There have been 3 posts to the Keen blog by three different readers within the space of less than an hour that are duplicates of each other.

 

The sentiments expressed in the posts are lovely and helpful – no problem there. But none of the posts are original nor do they vary one iota from the original work, which is published on a copyrighted website called SpiritDaily.com.

 

Not a single reader credited the source. There have been numerous complaints on the blog and elsewhere in which advisors have complained about their speaker names and unique listing content being taken and used without permission by others. The general consensus seems to be that it’s stealing – and it’s a no-no.

 

Although “forgiveness” is the theme of these postings and SpiritDaily.com might very well forgive well-intentioned violations of copyright laws, what about doing unto others as you would have them do unto you?
