A few days ago my boy friend Brenton and I were driving
through the beautiful countryside. We live out in Oregon
a beautiful area that changes with each season.
Looking out towards the sky I saw this rainbow forming in
the sky. Reflected through the little drops of rain it looked like God had hung
a prism necklace in the sky… high up in the sky. I pointed this out to Brenton
and we both enjoyed the vision.
A little later we took a turn in the road and lo and behold
the end of the rainbow came down in front of us and met the path. It was breath
taking. All the colors dancing ahead of us slowly moving away from the car as
if leading us down the path. It was like a rainbow to heaven. A colored pathway
to the clouds ! one of Gods miracles right infront of our eyes.
I then realized how lucky we are ….. Gods amazing presence
is with us all the time .. a light leading us through life gently flowing. This
was a reminder to me of how much God loves us and has painted the earth with
the colors of his palate. How beautiful it is to be sure . he leads us as he
lead Moses with the cloudy pillar through that desert.
When we are aware of Gods presence we see the many rainbows
that he shares with us. We see him. And we are guided by his wonderful love and
kindness. We are so blessed. Today let us give God the steering wheel of our
life and be lead with love truth and kindness. May we find his blessing and his
peace that he bring to us today now and forever .
Little Rainbow.
Sliding gently through the sky it came a multitude of color,
Flashing , dashing through the rain… born to bring the sun
again.
In all its awesome glory
Born for us , to set us free from pain
Embracing hope and life again,
Plant now a seed of
joy within our breast.
In love , in truth…. Dancing prancing gliding sliding it came.
To gently rest within my flaming breast.
How maginificant are you in your simplicity,
Little rainbow. Gods carpet of color ….
He lays for us to walk
down the path , Down the isle.
Walk on, to the chimes of the bells.
As the heavens tell
Gods temple and his bride.
Hold back no regret, no pride.
Don’t run, don’t hide
!
For this day was born a rainbow in my heart,
For you this day dear
God I give my heart, my soul.
To dwell with you for ever in your holy temple.
With wisdom and truth.
Never to Part and never to die
As one ‘We” would be
God ,creation and me…..
