I switched on my TV today and randomly perused some programs. I was a little sad and disturbed by most of the content they aired. There was hardly any history, no real well thought of fiction and hardly any pleasing music. The News was full of war and trials. It was a little depressing. I could only sympathies with those is and amidst all this tribulation. ‘ God Bless them all “ I said.

Yes there is violence in the world today. Even nature seems to echo the madness with a vengeance.  Hurricanes, random explosions, flash floods you name it my friend is the world angry at the way we are treating it.  I feel at least nature is!

As I sat with my candle in mediation over these sad facts I wondered how you and I can make a change,A little deference to the world. My glance was drawn to an open window and I noticed the summer sky. The blue of the heavens studded with little white clouds. Birds were flying high singing random ditties to give music to the heavens. The Flowers that boarded the pathway bobbled their heads to natures rhythms dancing, dancing!

How beautiful it was and how lucky I was to sit in that peace and enjoy Gods blessings, only inches away from this screen of destruction. Brought right into my home with this flashy little box sitting smug on its pretentious stand!

 I wondered why they did not report on such simple pleasure. All our programs seem to be built on violence or some aspect of shock. Even the music today wrapped around wrap and other awful noise they chose to call art, Life seems to shock us into states of oblivion. But lets not forget as a great preacher once wrote “ The best of life is – Now” so lets make our best happen.

 

So how can we make deference? We all long for peace, for equality, for freedom!!!! Indeed we are ALL Gods children. Each one of us. So let us embrace this with truth and light. To find peace in the world let us find it first within us. Let us reach into our souls and walk in our gardens and look to the heavens. Let us say thank you for all our blessings.

There is much beauty with nature. Lets chill with it my friends! If you have anger towards another let it go. It ain’t worth it!  You doubt your self, Don’t! God made you and as long as you stay in his will you are right. You are wonderful. Let’s take some pride and joy in that. Some of us our leaders, some of us are followers and sometimes we are called to be both.

However we can reach out and share the light that we have received from this world. Yes my dear friends reach out to another and give with kindness. Reach out hold some ones hand.  Share the Light that God gave you that day. Your light will Not be dimmed, in fact it will be doubled. Your blessings will be great. This world will be better today just because you made it so .There are many that are already giving kindly ,quietly, in their own way. Sharing the love .lets join them now and feel the beat of your spirit move over this beautiful earth, and you will make this a better place from right were you are right here right now. Amen.
