On Sunday I listened to a great sermon full of wisdom and truth preached by my pastor Jim. He is a  kind wonderful man that reminds me of Santa clause and Father Christmas all in one. He has a great faith and a deep smile that makes everyone of us feel that we are indeed the children of God.He spoke of the many truths of life and love. It is interesting that we hear them everyday, and we sometimes pass over them because of familiarity.

A key phrase of his sermon remained with us as we drove home “Seek first the kingdom of God , and all things will be added unto you”

-amazing words, I am sure we have heard that phrase over and over again, and we have through study prayer and stillness sort  the kingdom of God, which was and I do believe is amoung us. Brenton and I discussed many view points of “seeking the kingdom” and ended our discussion with yet more to come.
This morning as I was reading through my favorite literature I found an interesting article. It spoke of a couple, the wife was ailing due to some sudden illness and she was feeling badly.

“Husband” she said “I am so sorry that we did not do all those wonderful things we planned when we first got married. I am sorry I wish I had been more creative and supportive for you”
“My dear” he replied. “The greatest thing for me is simply to be in the same room as you and to share those simple moments with you that’s all I ever wanted”
among us.

How beautiful is that I do believe that this is a simple yet deep answer to the question of how you and I can seek his kingdom. I do believe that being in the same room as God and simply sharing and acknowledging his presence with us will be the foundation of the coming of his kingdom into or lives. That’s the Love that God wants and desires from us it is not too complicated. To simply love and enjoy being with him and speaking to him, how amazing is that. We are truly blessed.I was glad that I read this passage today and I was able to share the little lesson I learned. I am now chatting with God I hope we all are.

Blessings and Light
