Bashers --- Dealing With The One Star Torpedo Bombers
Well, I'm not usually one for giving in to negative energy, yet this seems to me to be fast becoming a site-wide pasttime -- Reader Bashing -- Dropping the One Star Torpedo! And, it also appears that there is no recourse through the chain of command. One Star Feedback will not be removed. So, how do we deal with it?
First of all, let's recognize something important .... a psychic reading is exactly that! A reading of psychic impressions surrounding the person being read. They are not meant to be perfectly factual or guaranteed predictions. They are merely impressions read empathically by a sensitive individual. As energy changes, so does a psychic reading. If a reader brags that they are 100% accurate all the time .. they are flat out lying to themselves and to the public because ... it just isn't so. If it were, this reader would be a guest of the government, holed up in some high-faluting laboratory and certainly not reading on a psychic site for any amount of money per minute.
Many of us have gifts, some perhaps more developed than others. And, not all of us connect with every call we receive. This does not make one a bad reader, but it does make for a poor connection at that time. When and if this happens, it is customary to send free minutes to the caller with an invitation to call back at another time -- that is, unless the caller is a One Star Torpedo Bomber.
One Star Torpedo Bombing appears to be a fun, yet serious hobby that some callers (readers, maybe?) seem to totally enjoy, and sometimes they even do it with requested free minutes, adding insult to injury. What they are doing is paying for the right to destroy someone's livelihood, and this not only brings negative karma into being, it also can cut short an otherwise excellent career.
To me it almost seems like readers are being attacked because they are good or because their listings have shown consistent 5 Star feedback -- not because they have given a poor reading. What a coup to give a 5 Star reader the first Bomb! Kinda like a notch on a gun handle, eh?
It is bound to happen to every reader and when it does .. it can hurt --- shoot a reader's confidence to oblivion. If you are a new reader .. expect it. If you are a reader with consistent 5 Star feedback, you should expect it, as well. No one is safe.
I've read elsewhere that Torpedo Bombers have to rardomly give 5 Star feedback so that they don't get caught plying their trade, and one reader even reported it, to no avail. The Bombing persists!
And, I've heard other readers say that they are beginning to tell people what they want rather than what their psychic impressions are just so they don't get Bombed! How awful to be put in that 'fluffy bunny' position! That energy is all wrong and it is because of this heinous display of One Star Torpedo Bombing.
How do you recognize a One Star Torpedo Bomber?
Well first of all, no matter what you say will be wrong. O.K. That is the sign to disengage from the call with a polite "I don't think we are connecting just now." I had a call like that, the caller was wonderful and said .. "Maybe we aren't connecting." And, I had to agree. She left me a 3 star rating which I accepted graciously. She was not a One Star Torpedo Bomber, she was a very savvy caller.
Another giveaway is a new caller with a very short call -- 3 or 4 minutes -- accompanied by nothing but criticism and then a click. That is a guaranteed Bomb.
Sometimes, it is the energy that you pick up .. something just tells you that the caller is not on the level. If you feel this way, politely disengage from the call before you get too mired in.
How do you deal with the One Star Torpedo Bomber? My suggestions are thus:
1. Smile through it ... and trust your own judgment. Know in your heart that you have done nothing wrong to deserve the Bomb. Its a game and you've been tagged.
2. Know that seasoned callers will look past the occasional One Star Torpedo Bomb to read all the glowing 5 Star Feedback left previously by happy callers.
3. Block the One Star Torpedo Bomber as soon as you see the feedback. Don't even give them a chance to do it again. ( I had one write to me using a different account name after I blocked them, and I reported that email as well ... haven't heard from either of them since!)
4. Fire off a volley to Play Fair and request that the feedback be removed. More than likely, it will not be removed and you will receive an email telling you that it is "... important to maintain the integrity of the rating system ".. or some other equally smelly reason. Don't let it sway you .. write to them anyway.
5. Don't quit! That is one of the intentions of the Bombers ... make you leave and level the playing field a little more for them. Some or most of these Bombers are either unscrupulous readers themselves or unscrupulous friends of unscrupulous readers. (Dolphyn .. are you saying that there are unscrupulous readers here? Ooops .. I guess I let the cat outta the bag !)
6. Continue to send out positive vibrations, smile at yourself more in the mirror, take deep cleansing breaths .. mutter under your breath if you have to ... but try to maintain a positive state of being in the face of the attack.
7. Lastly ... remember .. this is an attack. The One Star Torpedo Bombers are not playing fair andf no one is going to do anything about it. Fight fire with fire. If you get bombed, send free minutes to your best buddy to call you and leave you a 5 Star Feedback. Why not? Some people may call this "retaliation," I call it 'Karma."
Now, all this being said, let me explain that indeed there may be times when a reading qualifies for lower rating - that is why the rating system is numbered 5 Stars through One Star. Perhaps the reading may not have warranted a 5 star feedback, but maybe a 4 star. Or, perhaps the connection just wasn't right and a 3 star rating is warranted. And, there may be a reader who has made the wrong career choice and consistently gives poor readings, in which case, they won't be around too long because no one will call them.
A One Star rating given to a consistently 5 star reader makes the caller who leaves it look bad, not the reader. It makes the caller look angry and unjustified ... like "sour grapes". Keep this point in mind -- readers, callers and ... One Star Torpedo Bombers, too.
Meant sincerely and with love ....
