FRIDAY'S POSITIVE AFFIRMATION: Agape Love ~ How To Apply It In The NOW
Greetings Dear Ones
For many of us, this weekend has a special, sacred meaning. It is Easter weekend and represents a solemnity in the Christian creed that comprises a beautiful meaning. Even if this is not a holiday that you celebrate, there is a spiritual essence associated with Easter that impacts us all at some level. No, I am not referring to the 'Resurrection of Christ' as this may sound. I am referring to something deeper, underlying of the message of the Christ, that being .... Unconditional or "Agape" Love.
What does "Agape Love" mean? Well, the definition depends upon who you follow. In English, the literal translation of "Agape" means 'wide open'. Yet, Biblical scholars consider the term to mean 'Love By God' defining God AS Love. Over the years many religions scholars have considered Agape Love to be simple, unconditional love with 'no strings' attached, while others saw it as self-sacrificing love. And still, others see Agape Love as the love between a husband and wife in the eyes of God.
For today's Positive Affirmation, we are going to use the definition of Agape Love as unconditional love without strings or attachments. This affirmation is designed to help you release attachments you may have on someone or something that you dearly Love with all your heart with the knowledge that our Creator Source IS Love and each and every one of us is a creation of Source.
"Creator Source, I am grateful for your loving involvement in my life. My desire is to love ALL things, ALL creation, as you Love me. You do not ask me to do anything other than to Love All Your Creations and I recognize that each and every thing you have created has its place in this world. I willingly Love and Accept all creation with every fiber of my BE-ing because loving what you have created is loving You."
Please consider this thought over this Easter weekend ~~ Every person, every BE-ing, every twig, flower, ant, bug, bird, animal, fish, grain of sand ~~ every THING on Mother Earth is a creation of Creator Source. Give your Love to ALL creation this weekend, and every day. Don't concern yourself with what you will get back in return because if every one of us gave our love to ALL every day, there would be no need for anything else! Our collective love effort would cancel out anything other than .... Love ! Wow .. What a concept !
